Vespa Spotting: The Green Vespa at the Press
The past week has been truly hectic for us in WeddingsAtWork.com since we were in the midst of designing and layouting the W@W Despktop Gallery — a glossy desk calendar featuring 12 noted wedding phtotographers. For 2007, we will be coming out with two volumes so you could imagine the workload we had just before the scheduled press run.
Volume I is called, “I WILL,” which is a collection of pre-nup pictures of soon-to-weds in different outdoor locations. Since Benz & I didn’t have our own pre-nup pics before we got married in ’98, we had to do a quick pictorial (special thanks to our friend, Constantine) for an informal, outdoor shot so our message page will go with the theme. “Pyke” — my Vespa — served as our only prop for the shoot. Here’s how it turned out….
During one of our long stays in the press, wifey told me she saw a Vespa just lying around inside. Being a self-proclaimed Vespa fanatic, I was ashamed that I didn’t notice it before as I pass by that particular area everytime. When I finally saw it, I instantly knew why no one ever rides this Vespa. It’s just gathering dust in one corner. I guess, the owners will be happy to part with it for offers even below P10k with it’s current sorry state. I don’t intend to buy it as one Vespa is enough for me.

GOTCHA! hehehe. Sorry guys, I just can’t resist sharing this one. It an air compressor but it’s still a Vespa, right?
